Italian company Inglobe Technologies has released AR-Media 2.0, the latest version of the plugin for visualizing Max models on any physical location by connecting a simple webcam and printing a suitable code. New features include: marker creation utility for creating custom augmented reality markers, support for multiple markers, ability to export independent augmented reality files that can be viewed with the free ARmedia Player, antialiasing filter that enhances the visual appearance of 3D models, ability to create virtual “occluder” objects that mirror the structure of a real world scene, and a “Light Debug Mode” to control the tracking algorithm’s analysis of lighting conditions. A wide range of head mounted displays including the Vuzix CamAR, Emagin and I-glasses are supported. Trial and Personal Learning Editions available. More at Inglobe Technologies.
