I see from another point of view. Example: CAT, less or not long more development, Softimage: RIP.. etc. etc.

Yeah, one would think this would be perfect for Max, one will probably get disappointed, one also though naiad would land first in Max, silly one, one still hopes for it though…
Autodesk, please don’t be predictable, please…
Seems to me Autodesk in bent on world domaination. Everything to keep their lovechild 3ds max alive. They have behaved like this since day 1. I am amazed how often teams are so willing to put their creations on the chopping board for a quick buck. No pride at all.
Well I do not know this suite of tools, but I am sorry to hear of its impending demise.
Shotgun with Vault and Max integration please!
Too much to ask for?… Probably
Scott M, what a wonderful dream! even their brand new Screencast software doesn’t support max! max is autodesk’s dump yard. when something is old, they just throw it in to max, and call it tools of ninjas! (which make sense actually, cause ninjas doesn’t exist?)
Alan C., That’s a bit unfair though, to be fair none of the M&E products are supported right now in screencast, and also after reading the fxguid’s article regarding this matter I would find it extremely bizarre if shotgun stops supporting Max and goes exclusively to one product, though it’s autodesk we are talking about, stranger things have happened, so let’s see what happens.
And lets hold all judgements about the status of Max until after the 2016 release, so far I’ve heard only good things… fingers crossed.
