(Updated) The developers of AutoModeller have informed us that they have changed prices and now the cheapest option is available at 249€ (instead of 469€). Check out the software licensing options for more.

AutoModeller Pro is a new plugin for 3DS Max developed by Code-Artists Software that allows to paint a group of meshes onto your existing scene geometry. The meshes being painted will automatically be sliced, soft-sliced, scaled or deformed at the borders and can also be deformed to smoothly wrap around the curvature of the target object. The plugin is compatible with Max 2010-2016 and comes with medieval, SciFi and modern-architecture construction kits that you can use in your commercial projects. A trial version is available. More on AutoModeller Pro’s website.

I was all hyped by the website right before I saw a screenshot of user interface. Even though the tool itself could be very useful, the interface looks so weird I am not sure I could even stand it in my 3ds Max UI :X

The interface will take some getting used to, but this is incredible nonetheless, it’s been so long since we’ve had innovations like this, and the fact that it’s a multi-threaded plugin and not a script doesn’t hurt either!

Looks interesting, but quite expensive as well…

Agree.

Amazing plugins, but it’s too expensive for it’s actual value and opportunity of use.

Cheers!

Time is money and when you look at some of the denser examples, this thing pays for itself. It would literally save me days of work.
GJ, looks amazing.

It all depends on what you do, I was speaking for myself as a generalist.
Anyways, the new price seems fairly better 🙂

Cheers.

Now the price is much more suitable for what it is. Great job in listening to the potential customers.

I wish someone did the same! 🙂

Still, a little annoying for customers like me who paid full price when it launched…

I’ll wait next time.

i on the other hand have asked for the higher price of my individual license.
if we want creative and useful tools we need to support the developers.
btw the devs response was instant and in detail on each and every question i had. cannot ask for more. five stars so far.

you should ask for the money back to cover the difference.

Nice move of them to lower the price, I really hope it doesn’t get cracked like Autograss back in the time, it is so devastating for development.
