Ray Tracing Essentials

Early last year, NVIDIA published a free book on best practices for real-time ray tracing called Ray Tracing Gems. NVIDIA has now followed this up with Ray Tracing Essentials, a free a seven-part video series hosted by the book’s editor Eric Hainesthe. According to NVIDIA, the aim of this program is to “make developers cognisant of various terms and concepts used in the field, while also inspiring them with dramatic and beautiful uses of the technology”.
