Michael Spaw has released a plugin that allows you to comp any two maps together like you would in Photoshop (!!!) with modes for Screen, Multiply, Hard Light, Color, Saturation, Add, etc. It’s available from his site at: www.morphographic.com. Also check out the Composite Mode page for some handy formulas relating to what those layer modes are actually doing.
