Free 3ds max GI renderer

BusyRay is a physically based plug-in renderer for 3ds Max. Version 1.0 has just been released and is distributed for free. For downloads and more info visit www.busyray.com.

BusyRay is a new rendering tool to achieve accurate, realistic images of complex scenes. BusyRay features a one-button interface: no scene tuning is needed and no user training is required.

BusyRay’s main features are:

  • Accurate, physically based simulations.
  • Deep integration with 3ds Max makes it possible to support most of its features.
  • Elaborate memory management allows to process even the most complex scenes.
  • Virtually no parameters to tune – renderer automatically adjusts to every scene.
  • No scene tuning is needed – just render your old 3ds Max scenes without changes.
  • The release of the next BusyRay version (1.1) is scheduled for the end of August.
