Multi Jet Fusion is built on Hewlett-Packard’s thermal inkjet technology and, according to the company, offers printing speeds that are 10 times faster than those currently available, outputting materials with better strength, accuracy, finer detail and smoother surfaces.
The printing process allows to manipulate part and material properties, including form,
texture, friction, strength, elasticity, electrical, thermal properties and more. Wide distribution of the HP 3D Print system is expected to begin in 2016. More on Hewlett-Packard’s website.
