iRay 1.8 for Max and 2.1 for Maya out now
New versions of iRay for 3DS Max and Maya have been released.
The Max version gets a new bloom post-processing filter, a backplate mesh option for geometry and a new toolbar for fast access to common features. The AI Denoiser is improved so that it works better with bright highlights and now works with HDR images along with several small improvements. You can see the full list on the iRay for 3DS Max blog.
The Maya update includes improved AxF import, a new Metallic Flakes material, support for UDIM, improvements to rendering speed and Deep Learning powered post, support for Camera Scale and Refract Backplate and more. Find out more on the iRay for Maya blog.
Last year NVIDIA transferred the sales and support of the Iray plugin products to a trio of companies: Lightworks, Migenius, and 0x1 software and moved information, sales and support to a new website – irayplugins.com.
