KitBash3D has merged with Greyscalegorilla, integrating its 3D asset kits and creative tools with Greyscalegorilla’s motion design and rendering resources. Both companies have independently supported digital artists working in 3D, offering asset libraries, plugins, and educational content tailored to professional pipelines.
The two teams have collaborated in the past, beginning with Greyscalegorilla’s sponsorship of KitBash3D’s first challenge in 2017. The merger is presented as a step toward addressing persistent issues in 3D workflows, such as software compatibility and pipeline inefficiencies. KitBash3D and Greyscalegorilla stated that their unified goal is to create more intuitive, open, and artist-focused tools, while continuing to support existing products and services without disruption.
All founders from both companies will remain in place following the merger. No changes have been announced to product availability, pricing, or support.
