MadMapper is an OS X application that attempts to demystify the projection mapping process, which involves mapping images, video, and real-time animations onto architecture or other physical objects. The technique is becoming increasingly popular for art installations and commercial projects (see the fascinating 555 Kubic for a good example).
Madmapper is used to extract surfaces comprising several geometric primitives. These surfaces can then be mapped using any image or QuickTime movie imported into the application. Alternatively it can take feeds from any application that supports the Syphon framework, allowing for real-time interactive installations. Find out more at MadMapper.
