Mikros Image releases open source applications

With the aim of helping streamline interoperability among CG studios, France-based Mikros Image has been releasing to the public a number of tools that are being developed inside the studio. The tools include:
– OPEN BATCH IO (a.k.a. TuttleOFX) – an image sequence processing framework made up of a set of plugins to read and write professional VFX image formats and to perform various image processing tasks, and a set of command line tools to browse, copy, move, delete and batch process the aforementioned plugins.
– OPEN SEQUENCE PLAYER (a.k.a. Duke) – a high resolution image sequence player dedicated to visual effects and post-production companies.
– OPEN RENDER MANAGEMENT (a.k.a. Puli) – a render management system written in Python.
– OPEN DISPLAY CALIB (a.k.a. ColorTribe) – a cross-platform color measurement and calibration software suite for display devices.
