New features in Luxology’s 3D application include: Psub geometry (Pixar subdivision surfaces with greater creasing control), rendering improvements that deliver faster and cleaner results, ability to work with large disk-based tiled images, texture memory control, improved bump mapping that makes bumps behave like displacement, occlusion material with various useful options, new modeling and texturing tools, multi-resolution sculpting within Modo (!), ability to create re-usable rigs using a visual connection editor, etc. Take the new features tour and read the complete list of changes (PDF) at Luxology.com.
