ICube R&D, developers of MultiScatter, have released a new version of the plugin for distributing objects and generating them at rendertime that includes MultiPainter, a tool for distributing objects over a surface using a virtual paintbrush. This does not create additional geometry, which simplifies the process of working with large arrays of objects. Placement can be done on multiple surfaces at the same time. MultiPainter objects are compatible with V-Ray and Mental Ray renderers. Check out a sample video and find out more info.
