The first images produced with the Lume Tools set of plugins for Max have been posted at Digimation’s Beta Site. The shaders used to make these images are from the LumeLandscape and LumeWater toolsets.
Here’s some more information on the shaders:
– Lume Landscape: a shader that maps textures to terrain models in useful and natural ways, through attributes such as slope, height, and noise functions.
– Lume Water: models the physics of the reflective, transparency, and coloration properties of water. This shader can let your objects know when they are wet or dry, and apply the texture you supply accordingly.
– Lume Submerge: a volume shader which provides an underwater depth fading effect, in which the vertical light falloff from the water’s surface is taken into account.
– Lume Stain: confines textures with the boundaries of other objects.
