New features in Mootools’ Polygon Cruncher plugin for optimizing the number of polygons in 3D objects include: normal inversion is now extremely rare and polygons are better equilibrated, planar surface optimization is not anymore problematic, optimization is more than 2 time faster and requires less memory, UV coordinates are now interpolated (texture optimization does not require anymore to lock points), normal interpolation gives smooth results when optimizing normals, it’s now possible to lock point position in the advanced panel.
