NPower Software announced the release of Power SubD-NURBS, a Max plugin designed to convert Sub-D models into a NURBS-based format that can easily interface with CAD systems and CAD modeling operations. Your workflow can now combine the conceptual design process of Sub-D modeling with the engineering, analysis, and manufacturing design process of CAD operations. Coupled with Power NURBS, Power SubD-NURBS allows you to model quickly in Sub-D, convert to NURBS to apply Boolean operations, filleting, etc., and then go back to the original Sub-D model and perform additional Sub-D operations.
