Who is Quixel? Even on the website, no information at all. I would not buy from anonymous.
They are from Uppsala, Sweden.

Hi Ron,
yes, there is no info on the web site. Not even owner or EU e-commerce required legal data. I remember searching DomainRegister as i wanted to order software (i needed know if i will get invoice with or without VAT). For this lack of information in the E-Shop i would have in Germany within 24-hours a dozen of lawyers in front of our office door, with temporary seizure of the company store. Sweden seems to be more liberal, wish we could have here such desperado e-commerce style 🙂
I send you herewith the Full Company Details. I have ordered the Quixel a while ago, unfortunately never understood how to use it: very complex and slow workflow. Maybe i am too old for such things…
Here is the info from the invoice for you or anyone interested in purchasing the software. This info should be as a general rule on the homepage:

I think Quixel are doing great things. Quixel Suite 2 does look to be a big step up though. Quixel Suite 1.x is a great set of tools but you really need to first realize it’s a set of Photoshop plugins (they don’t really make that apparent at first) and go through the tutorials.
I do tend to prefer Substance Painter and Substance Designer however.
A big deal to me though is that Quixel promised a relatively long time ago that they were going to release “Megascans” — a set of very high res textures based photogrammetry with all the different types of maps included. They looked fantastic in the previews but there have been no word about when it will release (that I know of). That makes me concerned about them as a company. It still says coming soon on their website and it’s said that for a lot longer than I would define as soon and the page hasn’t changed.
