The latest version of Mir Vadim’s destruction kit plugin for 3DS Max brings support for the open source Bullet physics engine. It provides support for Rigid Body simulations, and allows to use the same dynamic simulation features supported by PhysX engine, except Constraints. The next RayFire Bullet build will be released later and will have GPU acceleration and Soft Body simulation.
The update is free to current owners of RayFire 1.67 and 1.68. RayFire is priced at $385, a RayFire Cache for Maya plugin that allows playback of 3DS Max cached objects inside Maya is sold separately for $75. More on RayFire Studios’ website.
