RaySupreme offers text-to-3D scene creation and rendering

Germany-based BrainDistrict has released RaySupreme, a software that aims to simplify 3D graphics for general PC users by allowing them to create 3D scenes by typing English text. RaySupreme capabilities include polygonal modeling, lathe, extrude, boolean operations, smoothing, materials, etc. Head over to BrainDistrict’s site for more.

Cool! Of course it will be a while before this sort of technology is advanced enough to be useful, but at the very least, it’s a very nice proof of concept.
Well.. nice to impress someone without a clue. But unless
computers are intelligent in a way they can really interpret a language
this is nothing more than a hoax. Also when i think about many steps in my everydays work. I wouldn´t even know how to phrase them 🙂
I don’t think it’s about replacing 3d artists, it’s about giving writers, directors, producers and clients a quick way of seeing some concepts and ideas.
