RichDirt 2 is out

• Style rollup – adds more control over dirt. Introduces breakthrough style to add more/less breakthrough areas and wash style to fine-tune the wash effect.
• Sill edges – adds sill edges at the edge of window benches. Wind direction can be used, so you get stronger sill edge streaks on the east versus the west side of a building.
• Better street dirt – flat obstacles (street/curb stone) cast a much better (wider) contact shadow. The algorithm also works when your uphill streets have a coarse triangulation. The same algorithm can be used to age wooden doors or a vintage designer kitchen.
• Dry area detection
• Merge objects – renders as if objects had been merged (interior splits disappear)
• Variety per object ID
• Variety per world space
• Variety per Wind
