Cubicspace’s realtime rendering engine allows users to publish 3D scenes to self-contained, compressed executable files. New features in RTRE 2.1 include: greatly increased performance for large scenes in both authoring and in published scenes, enhanced support for built-in Max materials (procedurals, architectural materials, normal mapping, etc.), new and improved navigation features, automatic basic lighting that allows users to get their scenes up and running quickly, UI enhancements, customizable ground and sky gradients, compression of published .exe files (save up to 50% in file size), expanded publishing controls allow for easy ordering and switching between multiple cameras within a published scene.
