Mihail Lupu has released Spline Brush for Autodesk 3ds Max. This new tool allows users to create and manipulate splines interactively within the viewport. It supports direct editing of spline points and curves, adjustable brush settings, geometry snapping, and standard undo/redo functionality.
Brush functionality includes multiple editing modes such as combing, relaxing, knot movement, attracting or repelling, cutting, extending, bending, and generating new splines from mesh vertex selections. The tool can also simulate gravity in real time and use collision meshes during simulation. Users can adjust brush radius and strength using specific keyboard and mouse controls.
