Stability AI has released Stable Diffusion XL 1.0, its latest text-to-image model, now accessible to developers through open access. The model will feature on Amazon Bedrock, an AWS service that offers foundation models from leading AI startups.

SDXL 1.0 can generate images with vibrant colors, improved contrast, and realistic lighting in seconds. Additionally, a new fine-tuning feature enables customization with as few as five images, tailoring the model to specific subjects. The model is available via the Stability AI API, GitHub, and its consumer apps, Clipdrop and DreamStudio.
