Some needed fixes and a surprising update to fluids, which is fantastic. Quick updates – love it! Keep ’em coming Cebas!!
Fix your wrong and user unfriendly rent License model first !
This update looks pretty good. After my current project finishes I’ll update for sure to check out this viscosity stuff.
Are you still expecting us to rent you $oftware?
Enough with the complaints, use Blender if you want FREE software
WE DO NOT WANT FREE SOFTWARE !!!
I WANT to PAY MORE FOR it !!!!!
I just want to own the Software and not rent !
Let me pay 3.000 bucks for it and I am happy, but I will NOT rent it.
No dubt that “rent only” isn’t a cool feature for this plugin…but other are amazing as TP is.
A new fluid solver means that scenes with fluids created with previous releases are no more usable or the old solver is keeped?
Fluids have been in tp since v6.0.
Each update keeps the original solver. Same thing with the implicit shape meshing. You can chose which solver you’d like to work with old or new.
hey cgpress, why is it that when I complain about comments being not about the article at hand, but about people forcing a completely separate issue – that’s not posted. But then we have all these other people complaining about something else you put up all their responses?? Strange double standard here.
This is where MaxUnderground used to be great because it was less noise from people constantly complaining and more on what’s being developed. When there’s an article about a great update like this, I’d like to read about people who are using it and their honest thoughts. Instead, every article regarding Max it’s the same people complaining about rentals rentals rentals. It’s like an atmosphere of negativity. You might as well make a new category for them after your “modo” link up above because they are distracting from what the articles are about.
It seems like you have an agenda and I’m not the only one that has noticed this. We all know you don’t agree with rentals like the rest of these people. Yeah, it’s not always ideal, but it’s also different circumstances for every developer. While some are annoying as Autodesk’s, very small developers like Cebas have solid reasoning. So yes, I am one that will “rent” from Cebas because they are a proven developer updating their product much quicker now.
Whether you post this I’ll wait and see. I wouldn’t be shocked if you didn’t, but at least you have my thoughts.
Cebas is on fire lately! dont stop coming! excelent new features added.
The reason has already been stated: courtesy is a requirement here.
There is no double standard, we have removed comments insulting Cebas’ CEO, among others. You just didn’t get to see them.
We do indeed have an agenda. CGPress has been built to help fellow artists and to express and defend the interests of artists. That’s why the site has such impressive support from readers. People notice this, even if we don’t say it aloud.
