Vlado has posted a video of a preview build for the new V-Ray Frame Buffer 2 for V-Ray Next, showing a new history list implementation plus several new compositing controls for render elements. Watch it on YouTube.

Happy to see that they’re working on a new version of the VFB !
The new history seems great and with lot of options.
I don’t really think I would use the layering feature/ mini photoshop inside the VFB, but maybe it’s mainly useful for architecture.
Very curious to see this new version 🙂

For stills I want a button that sends all current rendered elements directly into photoshop layers so post render tweaks can be added there just like the one in the free VFB+ plugin. Also an OS .dll to view .vrimg files/thumbnails in explorer and plugin for photoshop that can open .vrimg into photoshop without having to convert manually to exr. Or even better just make Vray/Max have a save render as .psd! This is basic stuff surely?
