Sketchfab announces animation support

After some months of beta testing, the company dedicated to online model publishing and sharing has made available the ability to display animated models to all Sketchfab users. Different types of animations are supported, such as skeleton-based animation (model rigged with bones), solid animation (translation, scale, rotation), and morph targets (great for animating faces). Each model can contain different animation tracks and loop modes, and users can switch between them while viewing your model. (more...)

Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer 1.4 released

(Updated) Apple has chosen Affinity Photo as the Best Mac App of the Year (2015) and in order to celebrate the Serif team has decided to extend the 20% discount on both applications for the duration of Apple’s Best of 2015 Mac App Store banner feature.

Serif has released updates to its image editing and vector design software. Along with the free updates, the company is offering a one-week 20% off promotion for new customers (until December 16). Both applications are available through permanent licensing for Mac for $39.99 each, and the developers have stated that they'll likely be porting them to Windows in the future. RealFlow 2015.1 is out

A new patch for RealFlow 2015 has been released, which brings Dyverso domains multiphase interaction with fluids of different densities, wetmaps for Dyverso, support for working with textures for geometry interacting with Dyverso, faster simulations for CUDA graphics cards, etc. The patch is available for free to current RealFlow customers.
