D:G:D:M announced the release of the Architectural Shader Library for Maya and the Redshift renderer. The library consists of the SLiB Browser, a free Maya Plugin that provides an easy way to use your Architectural Shader Library, and the SLiB METAL SHADERS Vol.I, a collection of 142 Metal Materials for Maya and Redshift 3D. The Didac'Docs are a series of didactic videos created by students from animation school MOPA as part of a pedagogic partnership with the Musée des Alpilles, a museum located in the commune of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence (southern France). Belgium-based artist Midge Sinnaeve has generously released Bread Pack Vol. 01 for free, a collection of 11 freshly scanned models of bread. Each one comes with its own set of textures containing a 4K diffuse, normal and specular map. The models are in OBJ format ready to import.
