Super Mario 64 HD remake

A computer science student from Canada has recreated Super Mario 64 using Unity. He had made the original source project available as well as a playable version but soon had to retire it from the web. Watch the video on YouTube and find out more on Erik Ross' site.

3DF Zephyr Pro

3DF Zephyr Pro is a software developed by Italy-based 3Dflow that allows to reconstruct 3D models from photos. The process is completely automatic and no coded targets, manual editing or special equipment are needed. It can take advantage of GPU acceleration when an NVidia CUDA-enabled GPU is available and can export to many 3D formats. An evaluation version is available. More on 3Dflow's website.

Green Stormwater Infrastructure v1.1

Increased urban development and a changing climate have led to heavier rainfall events. Cities are turning to more sustainable drainage techniques. Developed at Autodesk Labs, Green Stormwater Infrastructure enables rapid design and analysis of sustainable stormwater projects in an interactive 3D environment. The software combines the sketching and modeling capabilities of Autodesk InfraWorks with a dashboard full of hydrologic metrics that automatically update with each design change. Currently available as a technology preview, the software can be downloaded from Autodesk's website. (Registration required)
