For individuals, it’s a $2-3 increase. For teams….they’re keeping it a surprise I guess?

Everyone hates adobe now. Krita, Gimp, Blender, Davinvi Resolve. Those are the tools of choice. The only people who use adobe’s products are idiots who are too scared to change.

I still cant edit proper isolated rgb channels in any other software, affinity is hopeless in it and years of demanding this feature fell on silence, gimp was so convoluted i gave up trying, krita doesnt support it. Yet it is one of the most important features for any game development…

What do you mean by editing isolated RGB channels? Does Photoshop have a workflow to edit them separately or are you just copy them to layers and edit them to later recompose. Or do you just mean the Curves and Levels Adjustment layers?
Isn’t Photoshop and Affinity image adjustment layers interchangeable? Because that would give you the same results in Affinity.

Try this and tell me how its done in any other software, open rpughness ao channel images, open new rgb blank image, ctrl-a select ao go to channel R and paste it there, very simple now you can add and modify red green and blue as you like. Cant do that in affinity and if u can ots a million steps? Maybe u know better.

You cant color match even the basic images using RGB curves with Krita, Gimp and Affinity.
Yet it is a simple function in Photoshop’s curve tool.

Among all of those , fusion can rival photoshop in professional 3d work. But fusion has never been a basic image editing tool.

Unfortunately Adobe programs…. even though they definitely have their flaws…just work so well in production.Tried switching to Affinity Photo but after two years im going back to Photoshop. As crazy as it is the RGB channel packing is so overly complex and almost impossible to use that it’s worth paying the extra money to use the Adobe product >_<.

Buying Abode bloated and obsolete crap in 2022 is serious masochism.

20 min of research and you find a better and cheaper alternative to any of their softwares.

this really need to be put in perspective with this

It’s getting increasingly difficult to justify participating into this model
