I still don’t see justification for the pricing model. Maybe others do, frankly my money is better spent elsewhere.
Which compositor do you use John?
It depends sometimes layers are easier than nodes. I have had AE since version 4.0, so using it is almost automatic (I have a load of plugins for it too, RSMB, damage, ect.) else I have an old seat of Fusion. I don’t regularly need to comp my stuff, mostly just dirty slap comps, or messy around trying to keep my skill set up.
I still don’t like the way AE handles full or half openEXR. That would be fix worth mentioning.
