What’s happening to this site? Why are there ads plastered everywhere now? Even between the articles text? Please find another way to monetize maybe patreon? I’d even dondate. The amount of ads is getting ridiculous.
Apologies, we just switched ad servers and it went a bit crazy and added adverts everywhere. We’ve been able to disable the ads in the content now (might take a while to roll out though), and we’ll be fine tuning the others over the next few days. CGPress is pretty much a passion project at this point, we’d love to monetise without ads, but our past experiments with Patreon weren’t successful unfortunately.
CGPress is an awesome website. The news and content has been done really well. Definitely wouldn’t mind the adss provide some financial support to run the site.
Stop complaining nicky boy, they need the ads i get more ads running a regular google search than i do here, its more important for cgpress to keep alive than to have ads removed for the convenience. Damn i dont getbhow people expect things to just be free oh and f*k patreon.
You might not have seen it but for a hour or so there were ads plastered everywhere on the site looked like a collage of ads. Anyway its been fixed now. 🙂 Big thanks to CGPress for keeping up the project!
Absolutely love CG Press!
Really don’t mind the ads as long as it helps to pay the bills.
