Artstation has announced the alpha release of a new online marketplace, allowing artists to turn their online portfolio or profile into a digital storefront. Any digital product will be acceptable for sale with print on demand services planned for the future.

The service will offer two ways of selling, via a storefront where you use your own portfolio to sell products and are responsible for driving sales. Using this technique Artstation report that you can earn up to a 95% cut.  Your products will also be listed in the Artstation Marketplace with a much wider user base, but a lower cut at 80%.

At present, the marketplace is only available to a selection of alpha users, with plans to open it soon to Beta and Pro members. Find out more on Artstation’s website.

sounds good. however have to wonder how these scanned shoes in the screencap will work.
AFAIK BMW sued turbosquid for copyright infringement, rightly so.
cant just sell trademarked stuff like that.
