Autodesk has announced the acquisition of Wonder Dynamics, the company behind Wonder Studio, a cloud-based 3D animation and visual effects platform that uses AI to replace actors in a scene with 3D characters. Wonder Studio is compatible with traditional software like Autodesk Maya, enabling artists to animate, light, and compose 3D characters within live-action scenes more efficiently.

AI bro: “This is the worst it will ever be!”
Autodesk: “Hi everybody!”
AI bro: “:(”
Autodesk: “Hi roto guys!”
No, no, no…
waaaaahahahahaha…incrediblé! this is unbelievable…adieu, wonder dynamics!
Wonder Dynamics, it looked promising……. adieu!
Really now? That seemed the most interesting AI software in recent years. Especially the feature to get the data in 3D to continue working with it. I don’t know how and whether that worked really well. But now I think it’s safe to assume that it will never really work.
So, is the development of the Wonder Dynamics officially over now ?
Everybody complain about AI so now you have hero that can kill one of those AI bastards 😀
ah what a pity this was promising software
autodesk are allready planning to sunset it i heard. it was a buy to stop other companies purchasing it
