Markus Boos has been developing a new camera projection map modifier that is easier to handle and has more projection features than 3DS Max’s default tools. These include managing up to 10 projections within one modifier, custom projection resolution and aspect ratio (independent of Max’s render settings), selecting cameras directly in the modifier and many more. No more losing map channel IDs when copying or instancing modifiers. Markus Boos is generously releasing it to the public for free. More information available at ProjectGemini.net.
