Cyber Radiance has released a major upgrade to its hair creation plugin for 3DS Max, which brings a new rendering engine that allows for better integration with 3rd-party renderers, support for V-Ray hair primitives, hair ambient occlusion, unlimited Hair Farm rendernode licenses, etc. Read on for the list of new features.

Simply download Hair Farm 2 Rendernode and install it on as many computers as you need at no extra charge. Current Hair Farm Rendernode users can now upgrade to Hair Farm 2 Rendernode (unlimited) for free.

New Hair Generation Modes Hair Farm 2 has multiple hair generation modes. You can now distribute hair strands randomly or with uniform variation over a surface. You can also use the topology of the surface (such as its faces and vertices) for placing hair strands. This provides an extra level of control for both hair generation and for scattering objects using HairTo Instances. |
