Nice to see a tech preview of upcoming features… features that have been part of max, through Havok, for years now. I just hope that they include mCloth in max 2013 so I don’t have to install PhysX to be able to use it.
Marcus:
no way you are Notch, or are you ?
If not, my question was worth a try 😉
spacefrog, nope don’t know who that is but I’m guessing a troll?
: ) it’s just that when I see this it just brings me back to when Havok was introduced to max and Autodesk used pretty much the exact same videos to demo the wonderful things that could be done with it… but almost 10 years later where back where we started but with less features. I really hope that they will make some progress and get some more features out as soon as possible but it seems that what I expected from the start with MassFX we’ll see a new version every year with a new max and anyone who wants to use the new stuff will have to upgrade of hopefuly be able to install a newer PhysX (though I’d rather not when there is a version of it built into the system)
Haha – no , he’s not a troll for sure!
Markus Persson (note i got the name wrong, most of the time he’s listed with a ‘k’ in his name on the web) – So Markus Persson is the developer behind Minecraft ( uncredible successful game) and a cool, great & generous guy in general
