Quixel has released a new version of Megascans Bridge, a tool to browse, manage, download and export assets from the Megascans library to a number of different applications.
The new release adds the ability to download content directly from Bridge, in previous versions you needed to download via a web browser. It’s also faster and has a unified look so that the web version and Bridge experience are the same.
It’s not possible to batch download and export assets to other software and create shaders automatically for the target Render Engine. For Unity and Unreal, Live Link plugins are now available to handle the conversion for you and to save time you can now set settings as defaults for future exports.
Many more small improvements are including and Bridge is now compatible with Windows MacOS, and Linux. For more information, visit the Quixel Blog.
