Also released are free Lite editions of both plugins which support 3dsmax 2015-2020. The full versions cost $275 each and a bundle of the two plugins is also available for $450. Find out more, including video demos, on MagicPictures Software’s website
AqMesher lite crashes Max instantly in versions 2017 and 2020. Not quite ready for release ;]
If you are using AqMesher ver1.1, please download ver1.11.
AqMesher Lite ver1.1 had minor bug. And it already fixed.
It looks promising but the price is too high. That’s my opinion. When will they release Aquarius Fluid Simulator.
Can AqBullet be used for clothing sims, ie clothes not just flags and tablecloths?
Almost any particle based methods or realtime based ones such as physX, MCloth, Lucid, are not at all suitable for production character cloth simulations. So far the best cloth sim in Max by far is Cloth modifier itself and that is it.
Now if only Autodesk upgrades that code to be multithreaded with better collision detection in some situations.
Thanks for clarifying that. I use the cloth modifier in Max a lot, and just wish it were faster, but I can’t seem to see an alternative to it.
hmmm, i´am not 100% sure if I like the workflow in the videos … little bit old school 😀 … more vision in usability and user experience could help a lot of tools out there!
