Great ! Amazing Chance for Fusion now. 300 Dollar for life time with all upgrades. Blackmagic, GOGOGO

Nuke Indie is 500$/yr. i’d say if you make up to 100k a year 500$ is affordable.
But i get your point.
Did the full license come down from 10k$ to 5k$/yr? Still a lot especially compared to Fusion. Then again that is a pure price comparison nothing else.

Yeah, well, I live in Kazakhstan and at work I earn a low salary of up to $200 a month. So it is not possible to buy a license. So I downloaded the crack, I like it like the rules work.

I just do some precomp in Houdini. But I am playing with Silhouette FX. Why doing comp in Fusion and not SIlhouette? What you guys feel is missing?

Fusion is horrible if you need pipeline and commandline to be triggered.

This is insane. Nuke Studio now is more expensive than Flame! I know, it’s for different purposes, but still…

Also, another great opportunity for SideFX. COPs should finally get a real, serious revamp.
These guys know their craft well, and should expand into compositing.
Like, proper, XPU driven compositing context.

yeah, unfortunately sidefx is quite bad when it comes to user friendly interactive stuff, so forget doing roto or paint work.

They can’t for the love of god fix selection highlight in viewport for example and curve tool is .. WHAT ? this kind of things just does not fit into their mentality i think, but yeah a revamp of cop would be very welcome.

Sounds like your experience with Houdini is not very recent, but I get were it’s coming from.
I have absolutely no problem with painting tools, whether it’s fur combing or attrib paint.
Also don’t know what is your problem with selection highlight?
Last update on curve tools is really good – just for for me personally max’ spline tools were always unmatchable, but it’s very close.

It is under development. Compositing gets a update! Not sure if it will be in H20 but there are some rumors.
