Previs Pro has released Previs Pro 3, its storyboarding software, WITH animatic previsualization, adding motion, timing, and pacing to visual planning.
The central feature of the release is Animatics, which allows users to animate cameras, actors, props, and lighting directly in their storyboards. This provides creators with a way to represent movement and scene flow without relying on traditional 3D or video editing applications.
The update also introduces a new free pricing tier. Users on this plan can produce unlimited watermarked storyboards, use up to three AI-generated props, and create one animatic sequence.
Another addition is Light Grade, now out of beta and included as a core function. Light Grade lets users adjust lighting conditions such as mood and time of day through direct manipulation or natural language prompts.
Previs Pro 3 continues to use AI-assisted tools to help frame, block, and style scenes while leaving creative control with the user. The software remains available solely for Apple devices.
