Project Manager 3.37.41 released with improved navigation and asset organization
Project Manager has introduced version 3.37.41, bringing improvements to navigation, asset organization, and search performance. This update includes customizable icons for directories, a Recent Assets category for quick access, and an “Everywhere” search option for streamlined searches across cached data.
The Recent Assets category automatically stores the last 25 imported 3D models, textures, and materials, simplifying workflows by reducing search time. In collaborative environments, the Recent Assets folder also includes items used by other team members, providing a shared view of frequently accessed resources.
Users can now assign custom icons to directories, using built-in options or importing fonts and SVG files. Icons can be applied locally for individual users or synchronized across team databases for consistency. Features such as searchable icons, a most-used category, and category-based deletion make library organization more efficient. The pinned settings dialog allows for easier adjustments.
A new “Include to Catalog” option enables users to add directories to catalogs directly from the context menu, eliminating the need to locate target folders manually. This feature streamlines the organization of directories without requiring physical movement of files.
Search functionality has been enhanced with caching optimizations and the “Everywhere” search option, allowing users to locate assets quickly. This is particularly useful for large libraries, improving efficiency when working with extensive databases. A Recent Search Terms menu has also been added for easy access to past queries.
