I hope some day railclone becomes a part of Max, Max really needs a built in parametric modeling tool and it’s one of those things that can be useful to every field whether it’s entertainment, games(as seen in the demo) or obviously archviz, it can make the life of so many people so much easier, I just watched their stadium building tutorials and couldn’t believe how easy and fun a large project like that could be, keep up the great work iToo!

Itoo should tone it down the racket.
Hard work watching this and the Forestpro reel..

Great stuff, though.

Hey John, we will go for a softest music next time 😉
Glad you did like the content anyways.

I am a Forest Pro user, and it’s one of my favourite plugins. Like the new meadow libraries a lot.

I used to hope that my favorite plugins would get built into max. Not anymore. Once they’ve been assimilated, they tend to stagnate or die altogether. I’d much rather support itoo and their continued development. Railclone is a great tool that keeps getting better!

@Jason, I can’t say I disagree with you , part of me is concerned about that too, looking at Polyboost for one example, even though it’s still one of the best poly modeling toolkits out there(no thanks to adsk), it could have gotten even better over the years, but yeah, though there are some cases that have been under active development since the integration, State Sets for one, so who knows, what I wished for was definitely a scenario closer to the second example and not the first, and another thing that I really believe is that a parametric toolset like that out of the box in Max can give the modeling/layout aspect of Max an edge over the competition, especially in a time that each package is trying to come up with a unique way to entice users, but yeah in the end we can always go and buy the plugin from a 3rd party, and that’s also a great option to have.
