Auto-Rig plus BonyFace collaboration – fully rigged free test character for 3DS Max

The authors of the recently funded Auto-Rig project and the BonyFace facial animation script have collaborated to produce a fully rigged free test character (body+face) for 3DS Max users. The LudoRig v1.0 + BonyFace v3.2 character can be downloaded from BonyFace's website.

Honda releases data of car concept models for 3D printing

Japanese auto manutfacturer Honda has released the data for the exterior designs of a number of its concept models under a Creative Commons license. The models are in STL format and according to Honda, the "concept models can easily be replicated by a household 3D printer". Read the press release and visit Honda-3D.com for more.

Stratasys announces multi-material, multi-color 3D printer
