Stable Projectorz: an AI tool for 3D texture Generation
Igor Aherne has released Stable Projectorz, a free image projection and texturing tool tool powered by Stable Diffusion.
One of the core capabilities of Stable Projectorz includes generating multiple art variants based on depth analysis of the model and then projecting it onto a 3D objects for texturing. This is further enhanced by a Multi-View-Projection feature, which textures entire objects at once, ensuring visual consistency across the model. Artists can also mix different art projections and seamlessly remove any seams between them by painting directly on the model.
Additional adjustments such as hue, saturation, value, and contrast can be made to any 2D art projection to help blend multiple projections together. The tool also supports the generation of 2D backgrounds that inspire Stable Diffusion when texturing 3D objects, along with the capability to bake ambient occlusion shading on top of all projections.
At its core, Stable Projectorz leverages several technologies, including img2img (Inpaint) Masking, allowing for precise projection into selected areas, and the incorporation of various Control Net units. Users can further enhance their texturing process with additional control nets like the Style-transfer control net.
