Is the ‘gloating license option’ a new Autodesk thing?

🙂 We have nothing to do with Autodesk. the gloating is a “Floating license”, running on a custom server, that give access to any user on the same network. License in storm are lifetime licenses, and you get access to all next updates until version “1”.

I Hope Vray implements custom mesh support for alembic when importing Storm. Also need a quick fast way to create randomized coloration on those individual grain custom meshes.

Vlado said they are on it to be able to use Vray Instancer over VrayProxy, then we will have much more options.

This is an AMAZING piece of software, I really enjoy it, amazing software, amazing toolset, amazing speed and performance in general and amazing price! (and amazing people behind it I must say 🙂 )

Anyone that needs to do anything related to granular simulation MUST purchase this, it will save you TONS of hours and headaches

its too hard to use and very bad UI and sloggy workflow
perhaps making it more useable would be good and a link to 3dmax

I have to disagree, I found it super easy to use, in fact one of the easiest on this matter, simple and straight forward simulations
