Miauu’s Scalpel

Kostadin Kotev has released Miauu's Scalpel, a new commercial script for 3DS Max that allows you to interactively cut geometry by drawing lines. The script forces cuts to originate from a vertex or an edge with several snapping options including nearest vertex, centre edge, percentage of edge length and more. The script costs €9.00. Framer Modifier for 3DS Max creates topology-based frame objects from editable poly objects. According to the description, it is useful for creating facades, structures, grids, furniture, patterns and more with adjustable parameters for adding border frames, secondary frames, surface elements, balcony elements, and interior volumes. Artstation launch a learning service

Artstation has announced a new learning platform that will offer unlimited video streaming courses across a range of art-based topics. The service launches with 15 courses and the promise of many more in production. The majority of the launch causes are focused on 2D, but 3D is promised in the future. Artstation learning is available to users on a Premium subscription which starts at $83.80 per year or $10 if paid monthly. Find out more on the Artstation blog.
