Kstudio has released Curlipse, a new spline plugin for 3ds Max that can create shapes like open or closed flat or 3D elliptical or circular spline helixes and N-gon shapes with a lot of options. Unlike the standard helix shape, Curlipse generates a valid curved shape with the ability to specify interpolation steps. Find out more on the Kstudio website. 

AXYZ design has announced the release of Anima 5. New features include a new realistic 4D Digital Human walking character system. These include facial expressions and clothing deformations.
