IPi Mocap Studio 2.4.0.154

The latest version of IPi Soft's motion capture application adds multi-person tracking functionality and support for multiple video cards for increased tracking speeds, as well as batch processing and support for eight Sony PS Eye cameras. More on IPi Soft's website.

Fuel3D handheld scanner

Fuel3D is a point-and-shoot 3D scanner that captures mesh and color information from objects. It combines pre-calibrated stereo cameras with photometric imaging to capture and process files in seconds at a price of under $1000. The first models are expected to ship in April 2014. Mudbox 2014 extension announced

Autodesk's upcoming extension for Mudbox will offer new symmetry options for retopology and existing meshes, and a Caliper tool for measuring the distance between two points on a model or along a curve. The extension is expected to be available on or after September 16th. More on Autodesk's site.

Kolor Autopano Video 1.0 – stitch and create 360° videos

France-based Kolor announced the release of Autopano Video, a software that lets you assemble several videos into a single one covering up to 360 x 180 degrees. It provides various stitching templates (including a GoPro template) and the ability to launch automatic detection from scratch.
