Mir Vadim, the creator of the Rayfire plugin for 3DS Max, has just released a new video showcasing a new feature in the upcoming Rayfire 1.60, called Rayfire Trace. Rayfire Trace allows users to trace bitmaps or texture maps and convert them to fragmented geometry, which can then be run through Rayfire’s physics setup to create detailed simulations.
