Chaos launches public beta for Envision, it’s new standalone tool for real-time visualization
Chaos has announced the release of a public beta for Envision, a new architectural visualization and animation tool designed to expand on Enscape’s capabilities. While Enscape is aimed at architects for easy real-time rendering, Envision offers advanced features like ray-traced photorealism, realistic crowd animations, and support for massive scenes.
Envision enables users to export Enscape scenes into a ray-traced environment, supporting photorealistic rendering and advanced animation. This tool accommodates large scenes with realistic moving assets, crowd simulation, and customizable object manipulation. Users can seamlessly combine elements from various design tools, such as Revit and Rhino, to assemble detailed scenes and create animations, including construction phasing, sun studies, and design variations.
The software incorporates features like Chaos Anima’s crowd animation engine and supports the Chaos ecosystem, including V-Ray, Corona, and the Cosmos asset library. It leverages the .vrscene file format for smooth data exchange and integration across different platforms, maintaining design workflows without additional scene preparation.
This initial beta version is available for Windows users, who can try it for free while Chaos collects feedback for further development.
